Your use of delegation is not spot on. Proper delegation fits with supporting your team members and making sure they feel comfortable aptitutde and attitude wise in undertaking tasks or new jobs. Having worked in some difficult places, building the confidence and skills of people with better capabilites to work in these delicate, often fragile, always complex, settings was the art and science of my own working at distance and achieving with and through quality people.
