Thought and, trusting, action provoking piece. Thanks Stephen.

We are, again, seeing labour as a commodity despite the Philadelphia Declaration.

Migration is something inherent in the Anthropocene age, if not even before, but it is taking on different elements as we witness cost of labour, changes in how primary resources are extracted for what value addition and, most importantly, where this value addition takes place.

Placatory noises made by people driving an electric car without understanding the cost, in all senses of the word well beyond the fiscal, of the components has to be addressed.

There are ways but let us all be realistic as words spoken regularly fall on deaf ears when it comes to money and power. We need leaders who are states people and movements crossing divides that are regularly reinforced by popularist politicians self-serving self reverential and self referencing. The tools of mass mobilisation have changed and time to use these to best effect if we are to achieve Rights and offer a future for all and any of us.

When there is no water, thirst does not know your passport colour nor your affiliations.
