This 'they' goes far further. A deal of what is here could be put down as hyperbole - the microchip industry will correct itself within the markets. Steel industry already looking at 'green' steel - but at a wholly different cost; so what? We finally get to pay for what we done in damaging the planet?

The reality is, the 1% who are the drivers of the status quo, arche polluters and under payers of their dues to wider society are going to go sweetly along.

The real shortage is the power to hold the few accountable - more Panama Papers and Pandora Papers with real action to get vast monies into the system for the majority of humanity.
