Taking points from Amy Brooks and Alexnwriting, sense is we are engaging in the angst from the comfort of positions secured. Possibly, probably, missing the manner culture is created by individuals collectively acted and being led to act in ways to perpetuate the power and influences engendered.

Look further at social mobility and not only ethnic, racial stereotyping but geographic and social stratas no longer, if they ever were in numerous settings, fluid and open.

We are continuing to witness the consolidation of power and those in power will use whatever tools they have to manipulate. Angst over past apathy being a major one. If we feel strongly about something, let us act to ensure the past is not hidden, learned from and transmitted to posive actions today and into the future. Ha! then possibly we see a challenge to the cosiness of the individual and the comfortable debate becomes the reality of a bigger pool of talented people competing. We are, in general, masses of the Precariat or technocrats and have much to lose as we mount academic cultural debates leading to defences for the absence of individual action
