Quality writing in this article — Chesky did his homework and delivered it well without going near the things he can not replace.

Showing vulnerability is the new facade, taking over from all those who said sorry a few years back. Some of the vulnerability being expressed is as superficial as the chocolate glaze on cheap eclairs in a heat wave.

Some further analysis would add even further to the quality of the write up — use of latest leadership thinking in terms of diminishers and multipliers, or going back to the work of Schein looking at followers granting leaders their leadership credentials. We start to ask questions of who Chesky talking to? Future customers or those leaving the business now? Any Brits remember Gerald Ratner and his crap comment? https://www.theguardian.com/business/2014/aug/22/gerald-ratner-jewellery-total-crap-1992-archive
