Not the piece I expected when reading the title — however, read on and learned a great deal.

I come from a different perspective and ask questions as to government’s role and remit and how the APIs deliver this? Given the constant harping on PPP (public-private partnership) now as means to redefine privatisation, found this very interesting as to how parastatals were set up. Will now have to read and learn further given the UK is probably not alone in what the (political) elements of government say is not what the technical inertia wants and neither are keen to do what you have done in putting out the lessons to be learned; warts and all.
