I like the chauffeur analogy. President Musveni, Uganda, was told by donors that he was in the driver's eat no matter what. To which he said - I want to be in the navigator's chair and stop being told by all you people on my bus where I am driving.

Think further fitting the left field ideas and tangential thinking into conversation prompts.

I only say this because my bike is outside and someone painted the cat green s he could hide in the bushes.

Some things are conversation stoppers as much as starters - take the signals from those talking with as to how to navigate new routes into and out of your brain and relationships
