Good pulling together of a few different themes. The Economist published this piece - https://www.economist.com/international/2024/03/13/why-the-growing-gulf-between-young-men-and-women when we start moving beyond the screen time to the substance, or lack thereof, on the screens.

This article, going slightly further reflects elements in how we are learning and not learning. Regurgitating and reinforcing but, every now and then, challenging the norms. A recent piece from California was swiftly picked apart on the screen time piece as a self propagandist journalist used her own earlier writings as references to put out another book on how to parent.

Self referencing in the age where we are already superficial to say the least stops us all looking at what will make people (countries are not happy - the people in countries are either happy or otherwise because of action and inaction by leaders across spheres of influence) happy.
