Doing nothing is an art and science.

An aside - when being demanded to 'do something' regarding lifesaving situations (working for a humanitarian organisation), I diverted and set out three options. The pause before the third was pregnant - then I said "Do nothing. And justify it" Uproar but the call to do nothing caused the room with decision makers and action takers to renew thinking and resource actions.
